Lucy is uniting with a community of committed, dedicated, and imaginative "earth angels" who raise wish-granting funds for Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. 

In 2005, the autumn colors brought with them Lucy's first observance of October's "Breast Cancer Awareness Month." As a tribute to this commemorative event, the Activewear Company donated 10% of its proceeds from the sale of their commemorative pink graphic tees to Making Memories. This occasion fashioned an alliance between Lucy and Making Memories that would grant many wishes.

2006 saw a surge in Lucy's commitment to the cause as they stepped-up their support by   issuing the "pink + orange challenge."  This endeavor invited clients to use their creativity through a pink and orange fashion photo contests with a contribution for every submission to benefit Making Memories.

"Lucy cares" and knows their loyal customers share that same compassionate spirit. In 2007, the Activewear Company is inviting their dedicated patrons to once again, use their driving-force of inspiration to help provide memory-making events for women and men who are losing their battle against breast cancer. During the month of October, customers will receive a distinctively designed pink envelope flyer with every apparel shipment.  These remarkable leaflets will afford shoppers the opportunity to get more from their purchases than just great fitting cloths, by donating to Making Memories' "Pink Envelope Project," they will help make wishes come true.

What is a Pink Envelope Project?

The Pink Envelope Project is a community of caring individuals who use their creativity to host fundraising parties, activities and social-gatherings with their closest friends, co-workers or organizations. Through the power of a little pink envelope, members raise wish-granting funds that help provide "memory-making events" for individuals for whom a cure is too late.

Your membership donation to the Pink Envelope Project, entitles you to exclusive "Pink Perks," you will receive VIP seating at benefit concerts, Galas and other special activities.  In addition, Making Memories provides you with exclusive invitations to events and advanced entrance into gown sales. 

Your PEP Activity Pack includes a distinctive membership card, certificate and Pink donation envelopes printed with your own unique member number. This account permits easy access to your contribution tallies and volunteer hours from your Pink Envelope Project "member space."
