[ANIMAL CUTS SUMMARIZED]

Animal Cuts is a one of the most popular fat burner supplements on the market today. It is mainly promoted to bodybuilders, fitness models, and active people who love training in the gym, but also anyone who’s looking for a natural way to drop unwanted pounds.

However, Animal Cuts comes with so many ingredients that it’s hard to tell what works, and what doesn’t. This becomes especially evident when you realize you can’t see the ingredient doses – they’re all hidden within 8 different proprietary blends.

Although it’s a huge formula, Animal Cuts is still missing some of our favorite ingredients for weight loss and appetite suppression. It also appears to contain high amount of caffeine so it’s quite aggressive.

While Animal Cuts did work well in terms of weight loss, the stimulant load is high and can therefore lead to side effects in some people. For the price of $41.95, there are definitely better options available that will give you solid fat loss without causing jitters or energy crashes.

Animal Cuts Review: Key Facts

What is Animal Cuts?

Animal Cuts is one of the most popular thermogenic fat burner supplements on the market.

An “all-in-one fat burning complex,” Animal Cuts contains 42 convenient grab-and-go packs per bottle, featuring ingredients such as guarana, coffee bean extract, L-Tyrosine, and ginger.

Animal Stak has one of the largest ingredients formulas we’ve seen in a fat burner. It claims to cover everything from energy, metabolism, to natural duiretic and thyroid support, to nootropics for mood & concentration.

But does having more ingredients really make Animal Cuts better than its competitors? Or does it just raise the risk of side effects? How will Animal Cuts work for you, and is it worth the money?

We look closer into these questions below.

How Does Animal Cuts Work?

Animal Cuts is used for promoting the weight loss process from multiple angles. It firstly works to increase your metabolic activity by using thermogenic ingredients like green tea.

By heating up your body from the inside, these thermogenics force your metabolism to work harder, resulting in increased lipolysis – stored fat breakdown. Even when you’re not exercising.

Animal Cuts also contains a blend of diuretics which helps you flush water out of your system. It’s balanced with potassium-sparing plants to counter the negative effects of so many diuretics on the kidneys.

Other components of Animal Cuts help with reducing stress, along with improving motivation & mindset so you’re more likely to stay on track with your goals.

Animal Cuts Benefits

Most weight loss supplements work by targeting one or more aspects of fat burning, including faster energy metabolism or fat breakdown, limiting fat absorption, and reducing food intake via appetite suppression.

Animal Cuts promises to tackle weight loss from all the possible angles. Their website says you can expect the following benefits:

  • Improved metabolic rate – faster metabolism means more fat being burned as energy
  • Diuretic support – reduce bloating and water retention (note that it will make you go to the toilet more often)
  • Thyroid support – thyroid is incredibly important in managing our mood and metabolism
  • Enhanced focus and motivation – train better while in the gym
  • Elevated energy levels – by staying more active you’ll burn more calories throughout the day

Let’s take a closer look at the serving recommendations and ingredients in Animal Cuts to assess the accuracy of these claims.

How to Take Animal Cuts (Dosage Directions)

The official dosage instructions for Animal Cuts are as follows:

Take 2 packs of Animal Cuts every day for 3 weeks. One pack upon waking up and the other 4-6 hours later. You should take your Animal Cuts pack with a small meal and ensure you’re well hydrated due to diuretics in the product.

The manufacturer advises taking a week off after every 3 weeks of use. They also say you should avoid consuming other sources of caffeine while on Animal Cuts – further indicating that there’s a high dose of the stimulant inside.

Ingredients in Animal Cuts

As you’ll see right off the bat, there are a lot of ingredients in Animal Cuts.

It has 8 different proprietary blends – or “complexes”, as the label says. Within each of these complexes are different ingredients. Each complex targets different areas of health & fitness.

For example, there’s a Stimulant Complex that enhances your energy, and Metabolic Complex that specifically focuses on fat burning.

Animal Cuts also contains a water-shedding complex with diuretics, so you’ll need to be careful to drink enough water to prevent kidney strain and dehydration.

Animal Cuts Ingredients

Now, the obvious advantage of having so many ingredients is that it can offer you a wide range of benefits. But there’s a problem.

These “complexes,” aka, proprietary blends in Animal Cuts don’t disclose the dosages of their ingredients. You can only see the total dose of the blend, but not the dose of each ingredient in it.

Why is this a problem? Because not knowing ingredient amounts makes it impossible to tell if they are effective or safe.

The fact that Animal Cuts isn’t transparent is disappointing, considering it actually has some of our favorite ingredients for fat loss in the formula.

Here’s a closer look.

1. Stimulant Complex (750mg)

Stimulant Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Kola Nut
  • Guarana
  • Yerba Mate
  • Raspberry Ketones
  • Coleus Forskohlii Extract
  • Evodiamine

As we’ve said, this complex is all about boosting your energy levels, focus, motivation, and providing other benefits that you’d expect from stimulants. It consists of several sources of caffeine, including caffeine anhydrous itself, plus Guarana & Yerba Mate.

If there’s one blend in Animal Cuts from which you’ll actually notice the effects, it’s this one. But at the same time, combining so many stimulants together can lead to negative reactions. Caffeine by itself is a powerful Central Nervous System stimulant, combining it with so many other ingredients is not a clever idea, especially if you’re sensitive.

There’s also the issue of unproven ingredients. Raspberry Ketones have no effects when taken orally, and Evodiamine isn’t shown to increase energy or improve fat burning. [1]

But arguably the biggest concern with this blend, more than any other, is that you can’t see the doses of ingredients in it. When it comes to stimulants, there’s an extremely thin line with dosages. Too little and it doesn’t work at all; too much and it does more harm than good.

2. Metabolic Complex (750mg)

Metabolic Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • Green Tea Leaf Extract
  • Oolong Tea Leaf Extract
  • Black Tea Leaf Extract
  • Coffee Bean Extract
  • White Tea Leaf Extract

This blend is supposed to be the “Cuts” part of Animal Cuts. It’s the blend that focuses on fat burning and weight loss. How well does it do it?

Well, for starters, it only has 5 ingredients – all tea plants. That’s not too bad, as among those is green tea extract, one of the most researched natural fat loss ingredients.

But green tea and other types of tea can only do so much on their own. There’s a lot missing from this blend to be called a metabolic complex. Ingredients that we would like to see here included are chromium, vitamin D, and B vitamins, as well as Glucomannan for appetite suppression.

3. Thyroid Complex (350mg)

Thyroid Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • L-Tyrosine
  • Salvia Officinalis
  • Olive Leaf Extract

L-Tyrosine is an excellent choice, and so is Salvia Officinalis, a plant belonging to the “mint” family that has anti-depressive effects. Olive Leaf, meanwhile, has numerous general health benefits. The two most notable ones are protection from “bad” LDL cholesterol and cardiovascular support.

4. Water Shedding Complex (800mg)

Water Shedding Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • Dandelion
  • Uva Ursi
  • Hydrangea Root
  • Buchu Leaf
  • Juniper Berry
  • Celery Seed

Water Shedding Complex features many diuretics. These make your kidneys work harder to filter more fluid out of the body. If you have issues with bloating, then ingredients found in Water Shedding Complex could help you out.

However, it’s important to remember that diuretics are not child’s play. They can cause severe issues, including dehydration and kidney strain if you don’t drink enough water while taking them. [3]

5. Nootropic Complex (500mg)

Nootropic Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • DMAE
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Bacopa Monnieri
  • Huperzine A

Nootropic Complex in Animal Cuts features ingredients that boost your focus, memory, mood, and overall brainpower. By far, our favorite ingredient in this complex is Bacopa Monnieri, which is one of the best long-term memory enhancing herbs out there. Bacopa also works to alleviate the effects of stress and reduce depression.

However, the rest of the ingredients in Animal Cuts’ Nootropic complex aren’t so great. DMAE has some cognitive-enhancing properties but it doesn’t work for all people, and cocoa powder is more of a general health and heart-health ingredient than a nootropic.

As for Huperzine A, while it does improve memory and mental focus (reliably at that), it needs to be cycled every few weeks to avoid side effects. Doing so, however, makes other ingredients like Bacopa less effective, because Bacopa needs to be taken daily for months to experience its full benefits.

6. Cortisol Inhibiting Complex (300mg)

Cortisol Inhibiting Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • Ashwagandha
  • Eleutherococcus Senticosus
  • Phosphatidylserine
  • Magnolia Bark Extract

This blend of Animal Cuts focuses on reducing cortisol, which is one of our main stress hormones. Cortisol is beneficial in small amounts, but chronic stress can keep your cortisol elevated 24/7, which can lead to inflammatory conditions and weight gain in the long-run.

There are quite a few nutrients in here that help fight cortisol. But the best one by far is Ashwagandha. This ancient herb is shown to reduce the stress hormone by up to 30% in some studies. In addition, it promotes muscle strength, virility, and libido.

Keep in mind that Ashwagandha’s optimal dosage for stress is a minimum of 600mg. The entire Cortisol Inhibiting Complex is only 300mg, so the ingredients are clearly underdosed – and possibly ineffective.

7. CCK Boosting Complex (300mg)

CCK Boosting Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • Cha-de-bugre (aerial parts)
  • Apple Pectin
  • Cinnamon Bark

CCK Boosting Complex contains 3 interesting ingredients. Cha-de-bugre is a tropical tree which fruits are helpful for cellulite and blood circulation. However, it is an ineffective weight loss ingredient.

As for apple pectin, it’s a source of soluble fiber that contributes to your gut health. Cinnamon bark is added to help stabilize blood sugar levels to smoothen energy dips and mood swings throughout the day.

Again, the doses of these ingredients are unknown so we can’t tell if they’re effective at all.

8. Bioavailability Complex (500mg)

Bioavailability Complex consists of the following ingredients:

  • Ginger Root
  • Cayenne Fruit
  • Grapefruit
  • Quercetin
  • Naringin
  • Black Pepper Extract

Bioavailability Complex in Animal Cuts helps your body digest, absorb, and assimilate other nutrients more efficiently. In practical terms, it means you should experience fewer side effects from taking the supplement – such as bloating or nausea.

Before and After Using Animal Cuts – What Results to Expect?

There are numerous “before and after” reports from people who’ve been using Animal Cuts. Most of these before and after reports can be found on Amazon and Reddit, but also on Animal Cuts’ official website, which is, granted, a little less reliable as they can filter out the negative reviews there.

Here are a couple of pictures of people’s Animal Cuts results – before and after using it:

Animal Cuts Reviews and Testimonials from Customers

If you’re looking for Animal Cuts reviews, your best bet is to go on Amazon and Reddit. Looking at Universal Nutrition’s website, it doesn’t have a score that is lower than 3, which is a little suspicious! Either Animal Cuts is really that good – or they’ve deleted any particularly negative feedback. As it’s their own website, this is a possibility.

Looking at Amazon though, the ratio of positive-to-negative Animal Cuts reviews is a lot more balanced, with about 65% of the customers rating Animal Cuts 5 stars. Although, there are also quite a few reports of negative side effects and also lackluster results from using the supplement.

Needless to say, the fat burner will work differently for different people. The best way to tell how it will work for you is to do your own research on its ingredients, dosages, and clinical evidence instead of relying on other reviews which could easily be paid ads.

Side Effects

Animal Cuts contains a high number of ingredients, including diuretics and stimulants, so the risk of side effects will be increased for some people. The potential side effects of using Animal Cuts include:

  • Insomnia
  • Palpitations
  • Anxiety
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Nausea
  • Stomach cramps & diarrhea

If you’re sensitive to caffeine or any other ingredient in Animal Cuts, be sure to talk to your doctor before using it.

Price, Where to Buy, and Other Things to Consider

Animal Cut costs $41.95 per container on its official website. If you subscribe to a monthly delivery, the price goes down 10%.

The price of Animal Cuts depends on where you purchase it, as well as where it’s being delivered.

Animal Cuts Pricing in Different Countries

Here’s how much a tub of Universal Nutrition Animal Cuts will cost you in the following countries:

  • India (Delhi) – ₹5,899
  • Pakistan – 7.680,00 PKR
  • Bangladesh – BDT 4541
  • Egypt – 1.150,00 EGP
  • Sri Lanka – LKR 9.500,00
  • Qatar – 139,00 QAR
  • UAE (Dubai) – AED 145
  • South Africa – R1.249,00

Animal Cuts Review: The Bottom Line

All things considered, Animal Cuts is a bit of a letdown. While it uses a number of proven weight loss compounds – green tea leaf extract, caffeine – cayenne fruit – their doses are hidden in proprietary blends, making it impossible to tell if they’re at all effective.

In our experience, Animal Cuts produces an extremely potent, short-lived stimulant effect, which is followed by a crash later on. This tells us the manufacturers have likely stuffed the product with a high amount of caffeine to give off an illusion that it works.

Also, despite having so many ingredients, Animal Cuts is missing a proven appetite suppressant like Glucomannan, and some other core ingredients that we often see in the best-reviewed fat burners.

Don’t let the marketing hype fool you – at this price bracket, it’s possible to find better options on the market today.
