Test Boost Max 2.0 Review: Read Before Buying (updated)

Today we have this recently updated Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max review for you. Our team is going to inspect this product in-depth to see if it’s safe, how it competes against the current top-rated testosterone boosters as well as whether it can give you more energy, better mood, higher libido levels, and other benefits that are common with higher natural testosterone levels. Let’s begin with a brief summary to get an idea of what you can expect.

What is Test Boost Max?

Test Boost Max is a legal and natural testosterone booster from the American company Sculpt Nation. Test Boost Max is one of Sculpt Nation’s most sold products – it is claimed to bet the fastest all-natural method to boost your testosterone levels.

If you suspect you may have sub-optimal levels of this crucial anabolic hormone, then raising them through natural means – exercise, diet, sleep, and supplementation – can go a long way. Boosting your testosterone levels will result in higher libido, elevated energy levels, less stress and anxiety, a more stable mood, enhanced muscle building, less belly fat, and better long-term health.

Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max promises to give you all of these benefits, but does it really work? It comes in bottles with 90 capsules, each costing $49.99 and lasting you one month, but is it safe and a good value for money?

Our team inspects it with a fine-tooth comb below.

Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max: Dosage Directions

The instructions for Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max are to take 3 capsules once per day with one of your meals. You can start with just 1 capsule to asses your tolerance if you’re completely new to testosterone boosters.

Is this a good way to take a test booster? It’s simple, but not the most effective! Having only 1 serving per day limits the effects between the doses.

The best testosterone supplements usually come with 3-4 servings per day to keep the effects steady and lasting 24/7.

Ingredients in Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max

test boost max 2.0 ingredients

Test Boost Max has updated its original formula, hence the name Test Boost Max 2.0 Here are the ingredients in Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max 2.0, as shown on the product label:

  • Zinc Picolinate (20mg)
  • Tribulus Terrestris Whole herb extract (500mg)
  • Longjack (200mg)
  • Epimedium grandiflorum leaf powder (160mg)
  • Prolanza Ashwagandha extract (150mg)
  • DIM (100mg)
  • Eleuthero powder (100mg)
  • Hawthorn Fruit Extract (40mg)
  • Amwerican Ginseng powder (20mg)
  • Cordyceps mycelium extract (7% cordycepic acid, 20mg)

We like that Sculpt Nation clearly shows the ingredient doses on the label. Sometimes you’ll come across supplements that use so-called proprietary blends that hide ingredient doses so you can’t see exactly how much you’re getting. Luckily, we don’t need to deal with that issue when it comes to Sculpt Nation’s Test Boost Max.

However, there are a few problems with Test Boost Max’s ingredient profile that we feel need to be addressed:

  1. For one, Test Boost Max focuses heavily on libido-boosting ingredients, and not actual test boosters. Tribulus, Horny Goat Weed (epimedium), and LongJack are all great for your sex drive, but they aren’t proven to significantly alter your testosterone. There is no vitamin D, magnesium, D-Aspartic Acid, and other heavily researched test-boosting ingredients in Test Boost Max. You’ll be missing out on a variety of benefits of these ingredients – including improved mental confidence, muscle building, fat burning, and higher energy levels.
  2. Ingredients such as American Ginseng, Eleuthero (Siberian Ginseng), and Cordyceps Mushroom are underdosed, which lowers effectiveness at enhancing mood and libido.
  3. Some of the ingredients in Test Boost Max aren’t our favorites. This includes DIM, which can ironically suppress your natural testosterone production in the favor of the female sex hormone estrogen in high doses. Thankfully, the dose in Test Boost Max is within healthy limits at 100mg per serving.

Here’s a closer look.

Zinc

Fundamental mineral for hormonal and immune support.

About 17% of world’s population is at a risk of zinc deficiency. Consequences include weak immune system, fatigue, brain fog, and sub-optimal testosterone levels. Supplementing zinc is a good idea if your diet isn’t very colorful. In case of zinc deficiency or sub-optimal zinc levels, you may notice an improvement in your mood and libido from taking it.

Ashwagandha Extract

Great for stress and muscle building.

Ashwagandha is commonly known for its effects on cortisol. [1] Despite this, it’s somehow managed to make it into a lot of test-boosters these days.

The idea is that by combating the stress hormone cortisol – which is known to negatively affect our testosterone levels – Ashwagandha can support your anabolic hormone balance. While some studies show Ashwagandha helps you build more muscle faster, it doesn’t appear to be powerful enough on its own when it comes to direct testosterone boosting.

Still, the dose is on the lighter end, which we think is ideal for long-term health support. We don’t think this is a bad inclusion by any means, but it doesn’t work well for everyone.

Tribulus Terrestris

Libido enhancer.

Tribulus is a plant often lauded as a test-booster. The problem is, we don’t have any credible evidence proving this to be the case. What Tribulus can do is enhance your sexual performance and reduce prostate inflammation in case you’re suffering from benign hyperplasia. [2]

Epimedium Grandiflorum (Horny Goat Weed)

Another libido enhancer.

Horny Goat Weed does exactly what the name suggests. However, this is unrelated to testosterone as Horny Goat Weed isn’t shown to have any effect on the male hormone. [3]

Eleuthero Root

Improves bodily resistance to stress.

Eleuthero, or Siberian Ginseng, is a stress-reducing herb that may boost your immunity and increase work capacity during intense physical activity. Its effects on testosterone haven’t been studied enough to tell if it works for that purpose. [4]

DIM

Can actually reduce testosterone and increase estrogen.

DIM is a natural byproduct of eating broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables. It’s a molecule that some research shows can reduce estrogen levels, and in turn, give your T more room to breathe.

The problem? At higher doses (more than 100mg per day we believe), DIM cause a counter-effect – leading to side effects like man breasts, low libido, and weight gain. A better compound would be Indole-3-Carbinol, which is a parent compound to DIM that is also found in broccoli. [5]

Hawthorn Berry Extract

Source of healthful antioxidants.

Hawthorn Berry is a rare sight in a testosterone booster. The reason for this is, hawthorn berries don’t have a notable effect on testosterone.

Hawthorn Berries can reduce sinus inflammation and allergies but that’s as good as it gets. We seriously doubt it can do much at just 40mg per serving. Vitamin D or boron would work better here as these are proven to support testosterone.

Eurycoma Longifolia (LongJack)

Improves sexual performance.

LongJack is very popular in T boosters, although it only affects sex drive and isn’t proven to significantly affect the hormone.

American Ginseng

Not as effective as its Korean cousin Panax Ginseng.

American Ginseng is one of many types of Ginseng out there. If you’re looking to boost your testosterone, you’ll want to look for Korean Red Ginseng. It has been shown, among many benefits, to improve anabolic hormones, sexual performance, and mood. Its American cousin has very few studies behind it, which is why we don’t rate it as one of the best ingredients for a test booster.

Cordyceps Mushroom Extract

Excellent male vitality enhancer.

Cordyceps is a great ingredient for vitality and anti-aging. This can be especially helpful as men enter their 40s, 50s, and beyond, when energy levels drop. Cordyceps’ active dose is between 1,000mg-3,000mg per day according to the research analysts at Examine – Test Boost Max only has 20mg.

Test Boost Max Reviews and Testimonials

Test Boost Max isn’t officially sold on Amazon, so impartial reviews are hard to come by. You’ll also have a hard time finding any credible Test Boost Max reviews on Reddit or other big websites.

The only reviews available are those from Sculpt Nation’s website itself, which are moderated by their team.

Side Effects

Test Boost Max shouldn’t cause any side effects to healthy individuals. There are no harsh stimulants, the ingredients are commonly used in supplements, and their doses are within the safe limits.

That being said, if you’re suffering from any kind of health condition, then you need to check with your doctor before taking this supplement.

Cost, Where to Buy, and Other Things to Consider

Test Boost Max costs $49 for a month’s supply. Sculpt Nation doesn’t offer any coupon or promo codes for it at the moment, though you can find it for a discounted price here and there.

Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max is only sold on the official website. It’s not available at Amazon, Walmart, Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max only ships to the USA and Canada – it’s not available to buy in the UK, Australia, or other countries.

Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max Review: The Bottom Line

Sculpt Nation Test Boost Max 2.0 is certainly an improvement over its original formula. We appreciate the added zinc, a key ingredient for testostserone and immunity.

If enhancing sex drive and performance is your main goal, then this supplement should do. It’s got Ashwagandha, LongJack, and other proven libido boosters that should help you feel better in the bedroom.

As far as actual testosterone boosting goes, Test Boost Max could do better. It’s missing some core ingredients – vitamin D, magnesium, boron and others – that work to increase your energy levels, muscle building, metabolism efficiency, and mood.

A more fitting name for this supplement would be Libido Boost Max, if you ask us!

For the price of $49 per bottle, there are more effective T-boosters available on the market right now.
